Caldbeck Camping is a friendly family run campsite situated in the quaint village of Caldbeck.


With excellent access from Junction 41 of the M6 Motorway, we are in the heart of the Northern Fells of the Lake District National Park - under the shadow of High Pike and Carrock Fell.

With a range of grass pitches available, Caldbeck Camping will accommodate for adventurers and families alike with the river Cald Beck running smoothly through the campsite providing relaxing listening for those trying to unwind and reconnect with nature.

Our aim is to create a space for those of all walks of life to come, relax and enjoy the local area. This includes the avid hiker, a lot of which embark on the impressive Cumbria Way.


The Cumbria Way footpath runs directly through Caldbeck Camping, ensuring expeditioners don't have to deviate from the path to find a place to rest for the night.

A 112km hike through the stunning Lake District National Park, the Way sees walkers travel from Ulverston to Carlisle via Consiton, Langdale, Rosthwaite, Keswick & Caldbeck.
